Spawn of Kyuss (medium undead)
Look like well-rotted zombies. However these undead are cunning and carry a nasty magical disease carried by green grubs which writhe from every hole on their faces. When the grubs (visible only from close range) touch their victims, they quickly find any gaps in armour and burrow into the flesh, seeking vital organs. The spawn met by the party were originally dwarves, and radiate an aura of unnatural fear. Who knows what other horrible powers they possess?
